VINTAGE PHOTOGRAPHS

I can never pass up the vintage photographs at estate sales. It's sad that families don't hold on to these dear family treasures. Truth is, they usally don't know who is in the photograph, and therefore, it has no meaning to them.

I love to look at the clothes, hats, scenery, and of course, the people! It's fascinating to me to go back in time. I'm posting a minature picture I purchased this past weekend at an estate sale. This is in a metal frame. More information in my ETSY SHOP

    I also LOVE antique photos....it is sad that nobody in the family knows who these people are. I have so many antique photos and I know who a lot of them are and I cherish those photos. Years ago I started writing names and dates on my photos so that they don't end up in someone's pile of "who is this?"

    I'm always amazed at the photos people give up. I have stacks and stacks of old family photos (that desperately need organizing:)) I can't imagine parting with them...to me it's an adventure to someday piece together all of these images:)
