RECYCLE REPUROSE REUSE REDUCE
I'm always on the look out for ways to reuse vintage items without altering them. In other words, use them just like they are. I found this idea posted on Margo's Junkin Journal blog. Simply drape a scarf around a lampshade or a lampshade frame. A quick and simple way to change the look without doing harm to either item! Lots more projects on her blog as well! I hope you can take the time to check it out, it's one of my favorites! You can also visit her etsy shop Ruff By Margo.
Close up...
She does give this word of caution not to cover the top, leave it open to allow the heat to escape so it doesn't become a fire hazard.
A big thank you to Margo for allowing me to link back to her blog and repost her pictures!
