Post Office Restoration Fund Raising Event
May 5, 2012 3:00pm to 8:00pm
Tin Cup Gifts & Bistro
6025 Third Street Kimmswick, MO 63053
My love of vintage is not limited to just antiques and collectibles. I also love old buildings, the older the better. This restoration project is the
Kimmswick post office located on Front Street in Kimmswick, Missouri. It's been in operation since 1858. It currently is open 6 days per week until 12 noon. There is no mail delivery, only post office boxes. As you can imagine, it is the hub for our little town and we want to preserve it!

A big thank you to the Tin Cup Gifts and Bistro and to Michael Erbschole for all their hard work!
Yeah for old buildings!! Sharonville, suburb of Cincinnati, has been here since 1788, so you can imagine all the old buildings. Not so much anymore. In the early 70's modern was better,,a lot of old is gone. The song Only the Dead and Dying in My Little Town...well, that's here. Sadly a lot of vacant buildings and business groups have come and gone..we've been a business since 1972...and tried to bring growth and revitalization, but the powers that be and citizens are of no help. City officials have been here since the 70's if not the them themselves their children! It is a rotten circle. And, they keep gettin voted in!! Kimmswick looks like it's great!
