I put several bags of them in the freezer last night, since that sounded like it might be easier than steaming, and not heat up the house boiling water all day. I tried some a few minutes ago, and a very small percentage of them came loose all the way, so I put them back in. My question regards cards where the envelopes have been removed, but leaves either a little of the envelope paper or glue residue. How do you remove them? I hate it when the envelope has removed a bit of the card.Lynnettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09091975565803456678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4613390573864800645.post-56570328668268947072018-08-03T22:25:07.465-06:002018-08-03T22:25:07.465-06:00Hello! I have others that are linen card stock, but this one is different- more flexible. Were cards made from Vinyl at that time? Thank you so much ...Connie, what a wonderful post.. Thank you so much for your kind words. Honestly.. it is truly the beauty of vintage that inspires the recipes I develop for my blog.

My love for vintage comes as natural as my inquisitive nature...wondering who owned the box, what did they use it for? What era was it from.. what kind of life did they live...etc.

I tend to romanticize, day dreaming of a young girl holding all of her beloved treasures in that box, when in reality it could very well have held cigars!

Either way...it's fun. I enjoy vintage items!

It is a pleasure meeting you...and you have to know that I will definitely be back for more!

Thank you again.. <3 Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14849822150718539622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4613390573864800645.post-79753155911756639772015-07-20T11:06:38.778-06:002015-07-20T11:06:38.778-06:00Back to hunting for your newest treasure!

Until recently considered taboo amongst polite society, several of todays most brilliant minds seem incapable of recognising its increasing relevance to understanding future generations.
